Slope Drainage Systems

Slope drainage systems use gravity to move water safely away from structures through properly graded piping. When managing surface water, slope is the single most important factor—without it, drainage systems fail.

In a typical slope drain installation, piping is set and anchored along a controlled incline so water naturally flows away from buildings, pads, and high-risk areas. Pipes may be constructed from metal, plastic, steel, or concrete, and are often finished with durable grates to protect people and livestock.

For added erosion control, riprap is frequently used at discharge points to slow water and prevent washouts.

John Marr Bobcat has extensive experience designing and installing slope drainage systems and riprap solutions. We evaluate your property’s grade, soil, and runoff patterns to recommend the most effective drainage approach for long-term protection.

"I had John do some drainage work in my back yard and he did an excellent job, my water now flows freely. They were in and out and told me step by step how the process would go. They cleaned up the excess topsoil on the street and were very neat and tidy. He was on the job the whole time and did the work himself. I was very satisfied and would recommend him and have recommended him to people."
